Are you ready to embark on an exciting chess journey? Whether you’re a pawn-pusher novice or a budding knight, this Chess club is all about learning and reinforcing the fundamental principles of the game. ???
Learn and reinforce basic principles - whether you’re new to chess or need a refresher, we’ll cover piece movement, starting positions, turn sequences, piece values, special rules, general board competencies, checks/checkmates and strategic concepts. We'll do lots of problem-solving work, so be prepared to exercise your brain. Students will be able to play with each other as well as their instructor to practice their skills and learn.
 Let’s checkmate boredom together! ??
