We are opening up registration to 8th grade athletes as well to participate starting this season! The fee for the season of $250/athlete will cover the cost of the coaches, use of facilities, team uniforms (jersey, shorts, practice jersey), transportation with our shuttles and the team registration for USA Ultimate. We will also be hosting a end of the year banquet including senior gifts, awards, and accolades that will be given out at the banquet. Individual athletes will need to register themselves through www.usaultimate.org for a new or renewal of membership through the organization. The fee for each athlete is $40 that will need to be paid for separately. We will be looking to have some parent volunteer to help our coach for both the girls and boys team during games to coordinate throughout the season as well as assisting on our shuttles that will be used to travel for away games. If you are available and interested in helping the team, that would be much appreciated. Please make sure to check off in the question section of registration that you would like to volunteer. Spanish Adventures at Home and Around the World (High Plain) - Spanish Adventures at Home and Around the World (High Plain) Join us for a fun and engaging program designed to introduce young children to the Spanish language. Students will practice the basics of the language while doing crafts, playing games, singing songs, and conversing with our experienced teacher. They will be introduced to basic vocabulary for everyday use – family, pets, foods, numbers, etc. They will also learn fun facts about the different cultures that speak this wonderful language. The class is designed to maximize new vocabulary acquisition while increasing the interest in learning foreign languages. The children will be active, engaged in games, crafts, and activities, instead of being expected to sit down to listen to a lecture.Children may bring a snack (please do not send children with snacks containing peanuts!).
