High School Ultimate Frisbee - H.S. Boys Ultimate Frisbee Andover Youth Services is excited for another season of the boys and girls high school Varsity Ultimate teams starting this spring! We are opening up registration to 8th grade athletes as well to participate starting this season!The fee for the season of $250/athlete will cover the cost of the coaches, use of facilities, team uniforms (jersey, shorts, practice jersey), transportation with our shuttles and the team registration for USA Ultimate. We will also be hosting a end of the year banquet including senior gifts, awards, and accolades that will be given out at the banquet. Individual athletes will need to register themselves through www.usaultimate.org for a new or renewal of membership through the organization. The fee for each athlete is $40 that will need to be paid for separately. We will be looking to have some parent volunteer to help our coach for both the girls and boys team during games to coordinate throughout the season as well as assisting on our shuttles that will be used to travel for away games. If you are available and interested in helping the team, that would be much appreciated. Please make sure to check off in the question section of registration that you would like to volunteer. This program is overseen by Andover Youth Services.

Crafts and Activities for Children: Host and run engaging activities and crafts for young kids, bringing smiles to their faces.

We are opening up registration to 8th grade athletes as well to participate starting this season!The fee for the season of $250/athlete will cover the cost of the coaches, use of facilities, team uniforms (jersey, shorts, practice jersey), transportation with our shuttles and the team registration for USA Ultimate. We will also be hosting a end of the year banquet including senior gifts, awards, and accolades that will be given out at the banquet. Individual athletes will need to register themselves through www.usaultimate.org for a new or renewal of membership through the organization. The fee for each athlete is $40 that will need to be paid for separately. We will be looking to have some parent volunteer to help our coach for both the girls and boys team during games to coordinate throughout the season as well as assisting on our shuttles that will be used to travel for away games. Adaptive PE - Adaptive Physical Education Class starts off with a warm-up. Students are taught various locomotor skills which include walking, marching, jumping, hopping, sliding, cross-overs, galloping, skipping, running and walking backwards. Music is used by the instructor as a prompt or cue during the warm-up activity. We will then do a main activity which the focus will be on bilateral coordination, spatial awareness, eye tracking, balance, eye-hand coordination,eye-foot coordination, and more. These activities are individually designed for a wide range of students with varying disabilities. Different stations are used within one lesson to work on these skills. Adapted Physical Education equipment is used to complement the lesson. Adaptive PE - Adaptive Physical Education Class starts off with a warm-up. Students are taught various locomotor skills which include walking, marching, jumping, hopping, sliding, cross-overs, galloping, skipping, running and walking backwards. Music is used by the instructor as a prompt or cue during the warm-up activity. We will then do a main activity which the focus will be on bilateral coordination, spatial awareness, eye tracking, balance, eye-hand coordination,eye-foot coordination, and more. These activities are individually designed for a wide range of students with varying disabilities. Different stations are used within one lesson to work on these skills. Adapted Physical Education equipment is used to complement the lesson.
