Refund Policy


WITHDRAWAL POLICY If you withdraw at least two weeks prior to the program start date, we will issue you a credit OR Refund check (minus 10% fee for checks) equal to the full cost of the program. If you withdraw at least one week prior to the program start date, we will issue you a credit equal to the full cost of the program. Credits can be used towards any Recreation or Youth Services Division program and do not expire. No credits or refunds are given for programs priced $25 or less, or for special events involving ticket purchase when Rec/AYS has incurred an expense on your behalf. If you withdraw less than one week prior to the start date of the program, or after the program has started, there is no refund or credit issued. Registrations that take place the same week as the start date of the program forfeit any credit opportunities.
WITHDRAWAL EXCEPTIONS In addition, any programs with withdrawal exceptions will be clearly noted in that program's description. Consult the Town of Andover’s Recreation office.
MEDICAL WITHDRAWAL Should a participant need to withdraw from a program due to a serious injury or illness after the withdrawal period has passed, an account credit will be issued so long as a doctor's note is provided. Refunds will not be offered for medical withdrawals if it is past the refund date.

CREDITS If you have a credit on file with the Recreation or Youth Services Division, you can access it via our online registration system directly or by contacting the office. Credits do not expire and cannot be cashed in or returned for refunds.
