Field Hockey - Andover Field Hockey Clinic
Develop player skills through team practices and a competitive game schedule against local town programs (*NEW 3/4th*, 5/6th & 7/8th grade teams will compete in league match play). Teams will compete in the Bay State Field Hockey League. Travel to games on Sundays will be required. Teams will be assembled based on registration numbers. Schedules will not be known until the league finalizes the availability of all fields to coordinate the games for the season. Home games are typically between 8am-12pm at the Andover High turf field. Away games may be later than 12pm, but all depends on the opponents field availability. As soon as information is passed along, you will be notified. Practice scheduling will be determined by the volunteer coaches availability. Each team will have at least 2 practices. Practices will be held behind the Cormier Youth Center and trying to find time to practice on a turf field as well.We are hoping to schedule a preseason clinic with Coach Morris, the Andover high girls field hockey coach. She has helped us in the past to offer the clinic so once those details are finalized, we will inform all registrants.This year we will have a separate uniform fee. This will allow those who are able to reuse their uniform not to have to pay for it again. We will be providing all players with matching socks as part of the registration fee.
