SNL Flag Football League (Spring) - Grade K Grades K-6 (Co-Ed)NEW THIS SEASON - Andover Recreation will be managing the new Kindergarten only division and will be allowing team requests for this division.This recreational flag football league is open to children who wish to learn fundamentals, skills, and enjoyment of football without the contact. This fun, recreational league is open to all levels and will enhance understanding, build on skills, positioning, ball handling, passing/receiving, and running.Children will be placed on teams based on grade. Each team will meet once a week to have a short practice before playing their games. This program will NOT run over Memorial Day Weekend.Team SelectionTo achieve balanced competition, REC will place athletes on teams. Unfortunately, Recreation will not honor requests for this program, including coaching requests. Siblings will be placed together if they are in the appropriate age group and coaches will be placed with their child(ren).EquipmentAll registered participants will receive a t-shirt and a mouth guard to keep. Mouth guards are mandatory. Cleats or sneakers with good traction are recommended, but not required.
