All Day Discovery - Week 8 - August 10 - 14 (The Greatest Show Week)
All Day Discovery will give children an experience that will last a lifetime, by providing days full of exciting activities and fun adventures! Participants will be grouped by grade as follows: Grade K, Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6. Each day participants will be dropped off at South School for the morning/early afternoon and will end the day at Pomps Pond. Each week, participants will partake in group and individual activities including, but not limited to: arts & crafts, sports games, free choice periods, playground games, swimming (swim lesson included) and boating. Please bring a lunch, water bottle, snack, bathing suit, sunscreen and a towel each day. Please label all belongings. Field trips are now available for registration for children entering grades 3-6! Magic Brush (Summer) - Paint, Pottery & More!
Paint, Pottery & MoreHave your kids paint with Magic Brush Pottery! This summer will feature all animal and beach themed projects. They will explore painting pottery, glass fusing, painting a canvas, and mosaics all while incorporating animals and the beach. All projects will be planned by Magic Brush Pottery and they will teach them designs with a step by step class; the kids will pick their own colors and designs when we can. All the pottery will be food safe. Pottery paint is non-toxic and washable. Pottery and the glass pieces will need to be fired and will be delivered back to the Recreation Department within 2 weeks from the end of the session.This program is run by Magic Brush through Andover Recreation.

Come join Andover Rec for a variety of sports and fun indoor and outdoor gym games like kickball, soccer, floor hockey, wiffle ball, home run derby, shipwreck, dodgeball, and much more! Children will be grouped by age and skill level. Please bring a lunch, water bottle, snack, bathing suit, sunscreen and a towel each day. Please label all belongings. Program will walk to Pomps Pond in the afternoon on days that are 90 degrees and above.Interested in attending just 2-3 days per week? Attend your choice of 2 days (50% of the cost of the full week) or 3 days (75% of the cost of the full week).
