All Day Discovery will give children an experience that will last a lifetime, by providing days full of exciting activities and fun adventures! Participants will be grouped by grade as follows: Grade K, Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6. Each day participants will be dropped off at South School for the morning, spend the afternoon at Pomps Pond and head back to South School to end the day. Each week, participants will partake in group and individual activities including, but not limited to: arts & crafts, sports games, free choice periods, playground games, swimming (swim lesson included) and boating. Have you ever wanted to learn how to fish? Now’s your chance, let the MassWildlife Angler Education Program be your guide. We’ll have equipment on hand for use, as well as terminal tackle, and live bait. You’ll learn the basics, from casting out, to baiting up, and the best part - you’ll be able to fish. So come try your hand at this great pastime, guaranteed to catch some fun! Pre-registration is required. Please note: This is not a kids only program, but an all-inclusive fishing clinic for anyone of any age that wants to learn how to fish. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Looking for a fun-filled morning or full day at the beach? Does your child enjoy small group activities? If so, Beach Buddies, held at Pomps Pond, is the perfect place to be this summer. Children will enjoy swimming lessons, along with boating, beach activities, arts and crafts & nature walks. Please bring a bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, water bottle, and snack each day. All Day Discovery will give children an experience that will last a lifetime, by providing days full of exciting activities and fun adventures! Participants will be grouped by grade as follows: Grade K, Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6. Each day participants will be dropped off at South School for the morning, spend the afternoon at Pomps Pond and head back to South School to end the day. Each week, participants will partake in group and individual activities including, but not limited to: arts & crafts, sports games, free choice periods, playground games, swimming (swim lesson included) and boating. Rec Park Playground - Late Pick Up Week 5 - July 13 - 17
*Now open to non-residents!Rec Park Playground brings to mind hot days, swimming at the Pond and the kind of special friendships that last far beyond Labor Day. Children will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of age-appropriate fun activities including arts & crafts, swimming, boating, sports and games. Bring a lunch, snack, drink, bathing suit, sunscreen, water bottle and towel each day.Please label all belongings.Interested in attending just 2-3 days per week? Attend your choice of 2 days (50% of the cost of the full week) or 3 days (75% of the cost of the full week). Group Swim Lessons - Week of July 13-16
(Ages 3&4 require parent)Swim classes, beginner through advanced, are offered. Children will be tested the first day of class and placed in groups of 5 according to age and ability. All swimmers must complete all of the Red Cross requirements before they may advance to the next level. Call the Pond at 978-749-9423 for cancellations if weather is questionable. Registrations for lessons are NOT accepted at the Pond. Weather cancellations will be made up on Fridays.This Program is run by Andover Recreation

Water Orientation – 6 months – 2.9 (Parent and Me Classes) - Week of July 13-17
This new program helps build the foundational skills your child will need for a lifetime of swimming safety! A parent or caregiver must accompany the child into the water, and our instructors guide the baby and adult through fun, skill-building activities. Our baby swim school is mainly focused on teaching infant swim safety and improving your child’s comfort level in the water.Registrations for lessons are NOT accepted at the Pond. Weather cancellations will be made up on Fridays.

All Day Discovery - Late Pick Up Week 4 - July 13 - 17
All Day Discovery will give children an experience that will last a lifetime, by providing days full of exciting activities and fun adventures! Participants will be grouped by grade as follows: Grade K, Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6. Each day participants will be dropped off at South School for the morning, spend the afternoon at Pomps Pond and head back to South School to end the day. Each week, participants will partake in group and individual activities including, but not limited to: arts & crafts, sports games, free choice periods, playground games, swimming (swim lesson included) and boating. Please bring a lunch, water bottle, snack, bathing suit, sunscreen and a towel each day. Please label all belongings. Field trips are now available for registration for children entering grades 3-6!
