The Andover Recreation Department and Andover Soccer Association are proud to announce its inaugural golf tournament to be held at the Indian Ridge Country Club located in Andover, MA. This year’s tournament date is Monday, August 31, 2026.
The Andover Recreation Department is nearly a fully self-supporting town department. In order for our department to service the community we generate over 96% of all operating and maintenance costs from program fees, donations and special events. It is the goal of our department to offer high quality programming and recreational facilities at a reasonable cost to the Andover community.
The Andover Soccer Association is the largest youth sport organization in the community servicing over 2,000 Andover youth annually ranging in age from 6 years to 18 years of age. Andover Soccer Association board of directors and coaches are all community volunteers that donate countless hours to the youth of our community. It is also the goal of the Andover Soccer Association to also offer high quality programming and facilities at a reasonable cost to the Andover community.
It is with this common goal in mind that Andover Recreation and the Andover Soccer Association have decided to jointly sponsor this event. All net proceeds from this event will go towards field and facility improvements. Both Andover Recreation and the Andover Soccer Association have made field and facility improvements a priority goal. There are over 6,000 youth and adult athletes that use our fields each year. There are an additional 6,000 public school students that use our fields and outdoor spaces each school day. The lack of available field space and the lack of the ability to maintain and rest fields appropriately have plagued the Andover community for years. Net proceeds from this event will assist Andover Recreation and the Andover Soccer Club to better maintain, renovate, and improve our fields and facilities.
