Andover Recreation is proud to offer Andover Residents this exciting new gardening opportunity. The Chandler Road Community Gardens will feature over 40 plots of different sizes, a picnic pavilion, accessible gardening area, a storage shed, and water for the gardeners.
The anticipated opening date of the Chandler Road Community Gardens is May 1, 2026.
A lottery for the open plots will take place on December 19, 2025. There is a $25 refundable deposit for lottery participation. If you are selected from the lottery this deposit will be applied to your annual gardening fee. Those not selected will be refunded and placed on a wait list. Please note the wait list is through the 2026 season only and a new wait list will be generated for the 2027 gardening season based on available openings.
The 2026 gardening fees have been calculated using $1 per sq ft pricing structure and the fees are as follows:
All prospective gardeners acknowledge receipt of the Policies and Procedures as part of their registration and will be asked to select their preferred plot size.
Plots will be assigned at random by Andover Recreation based on the preferred size.
The accessible plots are reserved for individuals needing the raised bed wheel chair accessible option.
