Family Paddle Day 2023
Canoes and/or kayaks will be available for the first parties to register.  All equipment including paddles and pfd’s will be available for free.
 
Come prepared to get damp and wear water shoes.  Sunscreen and hats are always recommended.  Please leave valuables at home.  Phones and keys should be in waterproof containers.
 
Canoes and kayaks will be provided by the Town, and Andover Trails.  Limited help will also be provided to help paddlers along the Shawsheen River. 
 
Enjoy the meandering river and its abundant wildlife for a 45 minute trip.  Learn more about Andover’s hidden recreational and conservation treasure.  
 
This program is part of the collaboration between Andover Recreation and Andover Trails. 

Each slot will will be limited to 5 groups with 5 people maximum per group. Only one member of the group needs to register. All parties must sign the waiver on site prior to kayak/canoe use.
 


Location: Shawsheen Pines (Off Lowell Junction Road, Andover MA)

Please note that guided tours on canoes are limited to 3 or 4 people.
