ESports: Beyond the Game • Register • View Cart •

We know it might sound a little counterintuitive, but there is a lot that can be learned about your child’s favorite sport without them even breaking a sweat! The goal of our Esports: Beyond the Game program is to further educate kids about sports, utilizing a different platform. In this class specifically, we will be taking a more in depth look at sports using a platform kids are familiar with. We’re going to learn about fundamentals, positioning, and strategy. Furthermore, kids will learn about teamwork and sportsmanship by playing together as opponents and teammates. Along with sportsmanship and teamwork, children will learn appropriate language and behavior to use while playing behind a screen   and why they are important. There will be team play and one on one play. All equipment will be provided by the Sports Zone 101 team, but if your child has a controller that he or she would like to bring, please make sure it is labeled. For this program, we will be using Xbox.
