Do you want to build and code your very own robot? If so, you’ve found the right place!
This comprehensive introduction to high school-level robotics has a curriculum designed by the award-winning Andover Robotics Club from Andover High School. Students will work as a team to create an FTC-level (FIRST Tech Challenge) robot to compete in a friendly game. They will use a variety of structure and motion parts that the club regularly uses, such as channels, beams, plates, mecanum wheels, and so much more! Students will also learn fundamental programming concepts such as variables, functions, operators, loops, and conditionals and apply them to program an FTC robot through OpModes. It’s a hands-on, collaborative, and dynamic program that exposes students to higher-level robotics and challenges them to use critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.
No prior experience is necessary to join. If you are interested in robotics, computers, and having fun while working with a team, this program is for you!
Portion of this program will be given back to the AHS Robotics club to help support them for items they need or competitions in the future. Your support is much appreciated!
