This clinic is designed for young athletes to learn, develop and enhance their throwing, catching, fielding and hitting skills. We will breakdown the mechanics of these important phases of the game to set a solid foundation for the athletes to continue to grow throughout their careers. Athletes will take part in a variety of individual and group drills to practice specific skills.
This will be coached by Nicole Catino. Born and raised in Wakefield MA she played four years of varsity softball being captain of that team for three of those years. She continued on to Merrimack College where she was a catcher at the Division I level. During her time in college she volunteered as an assistant coach for the Andover Varsity softball team for three years. After graduating in 2022 she began her role as graduate assistant and then assistant coach with the Merrimack College softball team while she is obtaining a Masters in Secondary Education. She has also coached an 18+ Polar Crush tournament team.
