Family open gym for ALL AGES! Stop by the Cormier Youth Center with your family to shoot some hoops and exercise during the winter months. Preregistration is preferred, drop-ins welcome as well. Families who drop-in will need to fill out a waiver on site, prior to participating. Children under 6th grade must have adult supervision while on site.Come shoot around and use the gym or spend time watching a movie on our 30' projector screen!This program is run by Andover Youth Services.

Andover Youth Services provides daily shuttle service from Wood Hill and West Middle School. May - No Block Party Dates    We will still offer the shuttle for those looking to head downtown, but there will be no Block Party. May 24th - 5th Grade Step Up Day May 27th - CYC Closed for Memorial Day Observance May 28th - 6th Grade End of Year Celebration May 29th - 7th Grade End of Year Celebration May 30th - 8th Grade End of Year Celebration All end of year celebrations are free to members or $10 for non-members Registration is required in advance in order to provide the right number of shuttles and maintain the safety of all passengers. This service is free for members and $5/ride for non-members.New School year bus pass is available for unlimited rides for $50.*The program hours are listed from 1-3:00pm because registration must be completed by 1pm the day of service.*Shuttle arrives around 3pm @ Wood Hill MiddleShuttle arrives around 3:15pm @ West MiddleOur Block Party after school program from 3-6pm is a separate registration and costs $10/day and is not included in the shuttle membership.This Program is run by Andover Youth Services

Early Bird memberships are available for $275. There are other added benefits to having a membership. This Program is run by Andover Youth Services

Andover Youth Services is excited to reintroduce and oversee the boys and girls high school Varsity Ultimate teams starting this spring! We are opening up registration to 8th grade athletes as well to participate starting this season!The fee for the season of $250/athlete will include the fee for coaches, use of facilities, team uniforms, transportation costs with our own shuttles and the team registration for USA Ultimate. We will also be hosting a kick off team dinner and end of the year banquet including senior gifts, awards, and accolades that will be given out at the banquet. Individual athletes will need to register themselves through www.usaultimate.org for a new or renewal of membership through the organization. The fee for each athlete is $40 that will need to be paid for separately. We will be looking to have some parent volunteer to help our coach for both the girls and boys team during games to coordinate throughout the season as well as assisting on our shuttles that will be used to travel for away games. If you are available and interested in helping the team, that would be much appreciated. Please make sure to check off in the question section of registration that you would like to volunteer. This program is overseen by Andover Youth Services.

No previous experience required.Salsa Dance - Beginner Level 2You will progress from Beginner Level 1 learning more footwork and partner work to improve your dance skills and have more fun on the dance floor. You will learn basic steps of Bachata dance as well. Beginner Level 1 required. Series 1: Introduction to PickleballWant to try the fastest growing sport in America? This introductory class is the one to take. Pickleball is a cross between badminton, tennis and table tennis. Players will be taught the basic rules, common skills needed and safety guidelines. You will be having fun and playing games by the end of class! All equipment is provided.Series 2: Pickleball - What Next?For those who have taken the Introductory class or are new players that have learned the basics of the game elsewhere and want to improve their pickleball skills. This is a two week series of lessons. We will use a drill and game based format to improve your serve, return of serve, dinking and ground strokes. Players will feel comfortable to enter open play at series end.This program is run by Rec Staff through Andover Recreation

Come let your children explore using their senses! Your children will have the opportunity to try finger painting, shaving cream and play dough activities and much more! Sensory exploration is a large part of a child’s development. Andover Youth Services is excited to reintroduce and oversee the boys and girls high school Varsity Ultimate teams starting this spring! We are opening up registration to 8th grade athletes as well to participate starting this season!The fee for the season of $250/athlete will include the fee for coaches, use of facilities, team uniforms, transportation costs with our own shuttles and the team registration for USA Ultimate. We will also be hosting a kick off team dinner and end of the year banquet including senior gifts, awards, and accolades that will be given out at the banquet. Individual athletes will need to register themselves through www.usaultimate.org for a new or renewal of membership through the organization. The fee for each athlete is $40 that will need to be paid for separately. We will be looking to have some parent volunteer to help our coach for both the girls and boys team during games to coordinate throughout the season as well as assisting on our shuttles that will be used to travel for away games. If you are available and interested in helping the team, that would be much appreciated. Please make sure to check off in the question section of registration that you would like to volunteer. This program is overseen by Andover Youth Services.

This course is designed to prepare lifeguard candidates to prevent, recognize, respond, and manage aquatic emergencies, breathing and cardiac emergencies, and standard first aid injury and illness emergencies. Course includes: Lifeguard Training, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and Standard First Aid. Lifeguard candidates must be 15 years of age and have the ability to demonstrate the following: swim 300-yards continuously, use the front crawl and breaststroke, tread water for 2-minutes without using arms, and able to retrieve a 10-lb weight from 7-feet of water, then swim 20-yards, with legs only. Upon successful completion of the lifeguard course, candidates will receive an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification, a Standard First Aid certification and a CPR/AED for the Professional Rescue certification valid for 2 years. Blended learning online work must be completed before the start of class.

Family open gym for ALL AGES! Stop by the Cormier Youth Center with your family to shoot some hoops and exercise during the winter months. Preregistration is preferred, drop-ins welcome as well. This course is designed to train Water Safety Instructor (WSI) candidates to teach the American Red Cross Learn to Swim programs, and community water safety outreach programs. The new blended learning Water Safety Instructor class will offer more hands-on training while instructor candidates complete much of the content online before and throughout the course. Water Safety Instructor (WSI) candidates must be 16 years of age, and able to demonstrate six proficient strokes at a Red Cross level 4: 25-yards front crawl, 25-yards back crawl, 25-yards elementary backstroke, 25-yards sidestroke, 25-yards breaststroke and 10-yards butterfly. Upon successful completion of the Water Safety Instructor (WSI) course, candidates will receive an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification valid for 2 years. Blended learning online work must be completed before the start of class.

10:00 AM - 11:30 AM    Family Open Gym - June 8th
Family open gym for ALL AGES! Stop by the Cormier Youth Center with your family to shoot some hoops and exercise during the winter months. Preregistration is preferred, drop-ins welcome as well. Families who drop-in will need to fill out a waiver on site, prior to participating. Children under 6th grade must have adult supervision while on site.Come shoot around and use the gym or spend time watching a movie on our 30' projector screen!This program is run by Andover Youth Services.
